Programs to produce evolutionary art

The majority of programs listed here are for the IBMPC, I am trying to build up a list of other platform evolutionary art programs, but am hampered by not having any of these operating systems.

IBMPC

• FORM (written by me), no being developed at the moment
• Doodle Garden
• Imogenes.

• Bomb (not an evolutionary art program)
• LMUSe interprets Lparser Lsystem files as Midi music!
• BIOFORM Similar to FORM, but uses POVRAY extensively, better texturing.

UNIX/XWINDOWS

• ArtBreeder (updated link) several students have created a realtime breeding environment for virtual creatures. There is very little information immediately available but it may still be worth a visit.

• Xfrog This shareware program by Bernd Lintermann for SGI workstations
• sbart a program to breed 2D genetic images, can create animations.
• Qbist GIMP plugin, also available on the Amiga.

Macintosh

• Wild Graphics At this site you'll find some links for Macintosh evolutionary art programs, using IFS and other fractal systems.
