Atlantic Clipper is the premier overnight Great Barrier Reef sail and dive vessel in Cairns. A 140' brigantine she combines the adventure and romance of the 1890's with state of the art equipment and modern amenities of the 1990's.
Air-conditioned throughout, she offers accommodation in comfortable 2, 3 or 4 berth cabins.
Her spectacular saloon with large dining area, lounge and cocktail bar reflects her nautical charm.
All meals are prepared daily in her commercial galley by our on board chef.
There is a spa on the foredeck to soak in or join the crew as we hoist the sails as we cruise to the next reef. Life on board is as active or relaxed as you like.
Atlantic Clipper is based on the Outer Barrier Reef. Daily Transfers are provided from Cairns on M.V. Scuba Roo a purpose built dive vessel, which is fully equipped and can accommodate 48 passengers at a comfortable cruising speed of 17 knots.
Down Under Dive has just completed the purchase of a new vessel, called M.V. SuperCat. As the name implies she is a Catamaran, and she is super!
At 20 metres in length, with an intended passenger load of only 50 day passengers and crew, she will also be luxurious!
It is intended that she will provide an unrivalled fast cruise to the reef, allowing plenty of time at two different reefs for divers and snorkellers to see the splendour of the Great Barrier Reef.
M.V. SuperCat is currently sailing round the top end of Australia from W.A. On arrival in Cairns she will undergo a refit, to fit her out for the needs of today's discerning diver's and snorkellers.
